Diaphragm filter press mechanism and working principle
This series of filter press is mainly composed of body part and control part. The body part is mainly composed of frame part, pressing mechanism, filtering mechanism, pulling plate mechanism and so on.
1、Frame part: the frame is composed of fixed pressure plate, movable pressure plate, cross beam, bracket, large and small feet.
(1) Fixed pressure plate: it is connected with the small foot, with feeding holes in the middle, washing holes in the upper two corners and liquid outlet channels in the lower two corners. It not only plays an important role in supporting the beam, but also has the channels for feeding material, air and washing water in the filtration process (the concealed flow also has the liquid outlet channel).
(2) Movable Platen: It is used to press the filter plate. The movable plate is equipped with rollers on both sides for support and positioning when it moves back and forth. When it is pressed or pulled apart, the rollers are in a rolling state; when the rollers are not in a rolling state, add lubricating oil from the oil cup of the roller axle or adjust the eccentric roller axle.
(3) Crossbeam: It is not only the movement guide of the filter plate, but also the foundation of the plate puller, plate puller guide and bracket. The front end of the beam is equipped with a transmission mechanism, and the rear end is equipped with a tensioning mechanism.
2. Pressing mechanism: This series of filter press adopts hydraulic pressure. Driven by hydraulic oil, the piston rod in the oil cylinder pushes the movable pressure plate forward to press the filter plate; the movable pressure plate is reset backward.
The hydraulic system consists of oil cylinder, piston, piston rod, etc. The piston rod is connected with the movable pressure plate, and the oil cylinder is fixed on the cylinder bracket. When hydraulic oil is injected into the rear chamber of the cylinder, the piston moves forward and the piston rod pushes the movable pressure plate forward, so that the filter plates are in the state of pressure, and the oil pump stops working when the oil pressure in the cylinder rises to the upper limit value set by the electric contact pressure gauge. When the oil pressure in the cylinder drops due to leakage and the pressure is lower than the lower limit value, the system automatically compensates the pressure to ensure the pressure in the cylinder is basically constant. When the front chamber of the cylinder is fed with oil, the piston rod will drive the movable lever to reset and stop automatically when it enters the induction zone.
3. Pull plate mechanism:Fully automatic diaphragm filter pressAdopting automatic plate pulling mechanism. The pulling mechanism includes the puller, the puller transmission mechanism, the tensioning mechanism and its hydraulic system.
(1) Principle of pulling the plate:
When the movable pressure plate is pulled away and reset, the oil motor will work automatically, the puller will move forward, when it reaches the first filter plate, it touches the handle, the oil motor will be blocked and stop, a signal will be sent to change the direction of the solenoid valve, so as to make the oil motor run in reverse direction, the puller will hook the first filter plate and move backward until the filter plate touches the movable pressure plate, the oil motor will be blocked and stop, a signal will be sent to change the direction of the oil motor, so that the oil motor will work repeatedly until all the filter plates are pulled away. The oil motor will be stopped again and the direction of the oil motor will be changed again, and so on, until all the filter plates are pulled. After pulling the filter plate, the puller continues to go back and forth once, and the puller is reset.
(2) Plate puller:
In the puller, there are a transporting jaw, a stopping jaw and a supporting jaw, which are equipped with torsion springs and a freely rotatable lever between the transporting jaw and the stopping jaw.
(3) Transmission mechanism
The power of the conveyor puller comes from the oil motor, which drives the two pullers to move synchronously through the sprocket and chain.
(4) Tensioning mechanism
The tensioning mechanism is installed on the outer side of the beam at the fixed lever. Due to the constant reciprocating movement of the puller, the length of the chain is constantly changing, so the tension of the chain must be adjusted at the right time. Adjustment can be made by loosening the fixing screw of the tensioning slide plate and adjusting the tensioning screw. Be sure to tighten the fixing screw again after adjustment. Tensioning should be moderate, otherwise the life of the chain will be affected.
4. Filtering mechanism
The filtering mechanism consists of a filter plate, a press diaphragm plate and a filter cloth, which is covered with a filter cloth on both sides of the filter plate, and there is a feeding channel in the middle of the two filter cloths.
When the filter plate is pressed tightly, the material enters into the filter chamber formed by the sealing of the filter plate, the solid particles are retained in the filter chamber by the filter cloth, while the liquid passes through the filter cloth and enters into the outlet channel through the grooves of the filter plate, and is discharged out of the machine. After the feeding, the diaphragm plate is fed with compressed air or high pressure water, and the membrane is lifted up to press the filter cake.

The material is filtered through the filter cloth, and the filter cloth plays a very important role in the filtration effect, so the cloth should be kept flat, clean and free from holes. When unloading, the filter cloth should be cleaned, especially the sealing surface, to prevent part of the material from adhering to the sealing surface of the lower part of the filter plate when unloading, resulting in a decline in the sealing capacity of the filter plate.
existfilter clothIn order to achieve the ideal filtration effect, in addition to the above table, we also need to select the filter cloth according to the particle size of the material, density, viscosity, chemical composition and filtration process conditions. As the filter cloth in the textile material, method of different, its strength, elongation, permeability, thickness and so on are different, which all affect the filtration effect. In addition, the filter media include cotton cloth, non-woven fabrics, screen mesh, filter paper and microporous membranes, etc., which should be selected according to the actual filtration requirements. Usually the filter cloth is supplied by our company.
5、Washing
This series of filter presses can wash the filter cake. The washable washing liquid enters through the water inlet hole on the upper part of the fixed plate (or through the water inlet hole in general models), then enters into the filter plate, penetrates through the filter cloth, and the filter cake, and then flows out through the grooves on the filter surface of the filter plate and through the liquid outlet port.
6、Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system consists of a hydraulic station, pipelines, cylinders and their hydraulic motors.
(1) Hydraulic system principle
The power source of the hydraulic system adopts piston pump, and the pump is connected with high-pressure relief valve, reversing valve, liquid-controlled check valve and valve seat to control the system pressure. The hydraulic control check valve is used to keep pressure on the cylinder. The movement direction of the piston is controlled by the reversing valve. Forward and reverse rotation of the oil motor adopts electromagnetic reversing valve

(2) Hydraulic station
Hydraulic station consists of motor, pump, valve seat, valve and tank, it is the power source of oil cylinder and oil motor. (For a schematic diagram of the hydraulic station, see Figure V.)
7. Control system
The electronic control section is the control centre of the whole machine, please refer to the specific principles and operating instructions.
