Filter Press Structure

Rapid and efficient diaphragm filter press consists of main machine, hydraulic system, electric control system, unloading mechanism and so on. The main machine consists of frame part, filter plate assembly, filter plate pulling open and closing mechanism, and filter plate pressing mechanism.

The frame is the main structural part of the body, two parallel main beams are connected with the fixed pressure plate assembly and the rear bracket to form a rectangular frame, the main beams are used to assemble the filter plate pull-open closure mechanism and support the filter plate assembly, the compression mechanism, the automatic unloading mechanism and other parts.

Filter plate assembly

The press filter plate assembly and the filter plate assembly are arranged alternately on the main beam, and the filter surface of the filter plate is covered with a layer of filter cloth to form one filter chamber, and in the press filter plate assembly, there is a diaphragm covering between the filter plate and the filter cloth. During filtration, the slurry enters each filtration chamber under the pressure of the material pump through the inlet ports on the fixed pressure plate, the feed filter plate and the movable pressure plate, and the liquid in the slurry is brought together through the filtration medium to the discharge holes with the help of the feeding pressure, and discharged through the open and concealed holes at the same time. The solid particles in the slurry are retained in the filter chamber by the filter medium to form filter cake. When the material fills the filter chamber, the filtering stage is over, and compressed air enters between the diaphragm and the filter plate, which makes the diaphragm produce elastic deformation to squeeze the filter cake, and carry out the second pressing and dewatering.

Filter plate pressing mechanism

After the movable pressure plate drives the movable cylinder seat and the filter plate together initially, the upper locking cylinder of the movable cylinder seat drives the slider assembly to extend, restricting the movable cylinder seat to move back. The piston rod of the main cylinder extends and presses the filter plate. The electric control system automatically controls the hydraulic system so that the main cylinder and the vice cylinder enter the state of keeping pressure at the same time. When the filter cake is formed and pressed and dewatered, the main cylinder drives the vice cylinder and the movable pressure plate to loosen and return, the locking cylinder drives the slide assembly to retract and reset, and the filter plate pulling open and closing mechanism starts to work.

Unloading mechanism

The unloading cylinder extends and retracts to realise the up and down movement of the unloading beam. The filter cloth on the swinging rod moves up and down accordingly, so that the filter cake is dislodged.

hydraulic system

It is the power unit of filter press, which is composed of oil pump, hydraulic control element, hydraulic executive element, high level oil tank, hydraulic pipeline and so on. Each executive oil circuit is equipped with a pressure reducing valve, and the main oil circuit is set with a system relief valve.

control system

It consists of control part, signal part and execution part, with manual and automatic operation function.

(1) The control part consists of programmable controller, programmable text display terminal and control panel, buttons, switching power supply, AC contactor and so on. It takes the programmable controller and programmable text display terminal as the core, and sends out action instructions to the mechanism according to the input procedure and the feedback information of the signalling system.

(2) Signal system main cylinder expansion and contraction limit; filter plate pull open and close limit; slider assembly lifting limit; hydraulic system oil pressure measurement and other sensors will be institutional action information and hydraulic system parameters feedback to the control part.

The pressure of the hydraulic system rises after the filter plate is pressed, the system sequence valve opens, and the pressure of the main and sub-cylinder rises at the same time. When the pressure reaches the set upper limit value, the pressure sensor feeds back the signal to the control system, the control system sends out the motor oil pump stopping instruction, and the main cylinder is in the process of keeping pressure. When the pressure drops to the set lower limit value, the control system starts the motor oil pump again according to the feedback signal, until the pressure rises to the set upper limit value again. The feed pump presses the slurry into each filter chamber for filtration, and after the cake fills the filter chamber, the compressed air enters between the diaphragm and the filter plate for the second pressing and dewatering. At the end of pressing, the motor oil pump starts again, the electro-hydraulic reversing valve moves, the main cylinder rod chamber feeds oil, and the vice cylinder follows. Filter plate loosening, control locking cylinder electromagnetic reversing valve action, locking cylinder drive slider assembly reset, control a pull-open hydraulic motor electromagnetic reversing valve action, the motor through the drive chain drive movable pressure plate, movable cylinder seat moving pull-open filter plate unloading. Once pulled open in place, the control system to start the second pull-open hydraulic motor for the second unloading, the second in place, through the electromagnetic reversing valve reversing action, making the second pull-open motor reversal, feed filter plate drive filter plate three times pulled open unloading. After the end of unloading, start a pull-open motor reversal, drive the activity of the pressure plate, the activity of the cylinder seat and the filter plate together in place, the locking cylinder drives the slider assembly will be the cylinder seat locking, to complete a cycle of work, the motor oil pump stops working.

Rapid filter press automation system
