Sludge filter press working principle
The working principle of the sludge filter press is that the material to be filtered is fed from the feed holes of the thrust plate into the filter chambers through the feed pump under a certain pressure, through theFilter Press Cloth, the solids are retained in the filter chamber and gradually form a cake; the liquid is discharged out of the machine through the outlet hole. Open the plate and frame, unload the cake, clean the filter cloth, reload and close for the next cycle. Sludge filter press operating procedures

Sludge filter press filtration
When filtering different materials and the same material due to different water content and even temperature, the effect of filtration (speed, water content) may be different, and some materials even need to add filter aids such as Cao, flocculant, calcium carbide slag, etc. before filtration in order to adjust the filtration characteristics of the material. 5, if the pneumatic diaphragm pump can adjust the pressure reducing valve, a one-time adjustment of the filtration pressure, in the filtration process without human operation. If the screw pump and other feed pumps are used, not only the reflux system should be installed, but also the size of the reflux valve should be adjusted at any time according to the change of filtration pressure in order to control the filtration pressure, which needs to be operated by a person, or else the equipment will be damaged.
6, when the filtration pressure is large, the water is small, can be regarded as the end of filtration, return the pressure plate, such as found that the water content of the cake is large, can close the pressure plate to continue filtration.
7If the filtration time is too long or the filter cake can not be shaped, you should consider reducing the water content of the material, such as increasing the settling time, adding a concentrated sedimentation tank or adding flocculants and filter aids (quicklime, diatomaceous earth, perlite) to replace the filtration media and other methods to solve the problem.
8、If the filter cake needs to be rinsed, the open-flow type closes the outlet on the washing plate, closes the feed valve, opens the washing water valve, and releases the water for rinsing, the pressure of the rinsing water is generally not greater than the rated filtration pressure of the equipment, and the rinsing time should be determined according to the effect of rinsing, such as the effect of one rinsing is not desirable, it can be rinsed several times during the filtration process.
9. In order to reduce the water content of the filter cake, compressed air blow-drying method can be used, which is the same as the flushing method, and the method of feeding air into the feed hole or the use of diaphragm press type filter press can also be used.
