Characteristics of Reinforced Polypropylene Diaphragm Filter Presses
1. Wide range of application and strong adaptability. Diaphragm filter press is especially suitable for the separation of large viscosity, small particles and compressible materials. Especially in the processing of fine particle size, viscous materials, filtration resistance, ordinary filter plate filter press required constant pressure feeding filtration time is longer, affecting the separation effect of materials. The diaphragm-type filter press can be converted to press filtration after constant pressure feeding, replacing the long constant pressure feeding filtration time of ordinary filter press with very short press filtration time.
2. Reduce water content, improve separation efficiency, energy saving and consumption reduction. When the filter press feed coarse particle size, no viscosity, filtration resistance is small, a short time will be basically not out of filtrate and terminate the feed, ordinary filter press unloading situation is relatively easy. However, for the fine particle size, viscosity of the compressible material filtration, the use of ordinary filter press will appear, high water content of the cake, the cake falling rate is very low, even if manually processed, part of the adherent material can not be the whole piece of falling, unloading the cake is very difficult, and even need to wash the filter cloth to carry out the next cycle, resulting in manual labour intensity, unloading time is long. Diaphragm type filter press will enter a short pressing filtration process after termination of feeding, which makes the diaphragm bulge to press the cake for further dewatering; the diaphragm bulge compacts the cake, and in the process of unloading, the water content of the cake is low, and it can be basically shed cleanly, and thus the unloading process can be completed in a short period of time. Improve the labour efficiency, especially for the subsequent drying treatment of the filter cake will save a lot of energy consumption.
3. Good pressing effect and long service life. Integral diaphragm filter press is made of diaphragm compounded with filter plate, which closely forms a sealing body with the press plate to form a filtration and cake pressing filter chamber. Under the state of pressing, it has high pressure strength, good airtightness and easy operation, which effectively improves its pressing separation effect and the service life of the filter press.
Diaphragm filter press working principle
When the diaphragm filter press works, the push plate is pushed by the pressing device (cylinder piston rod or screw), and the filter press will press the filter plate and filter cloth located between the push plate and the tail plate, and the filter chamber is formed between the pressed filter plate and the filter plate, and the materials enter into the filter chambers by the feed hole of the material pump from the tail plate, the solid particles are retained inside the filter chamber and form the cake, and the liquid is discharged through the cake and the filter cloth by the outlet holes outside of the machine body. If the diaphragm filter press needs to wash the filter cake, the washing water can be fed into the washing port on the tail plate to wash the cake. Similarly, if the filter cake needs to be blown dry, compressed air can be fed into the liquid washing port to blow the filter cake dry.

What information should I provide when I need a quote?
Normally, if you want to get an accurate quotation, you are recommended to provide us with this information: 1. The type of sludge to be filtered: is it physical sludge, or biochemical sludge? Conventional filter presses are available for physical sludge, while belt and stacked-screw filter presses are required for biochemical sludge, especially sludge containing oil or viscous sludge.
2, the water content of sludge after filtering: chamber filter press, plate and frame filter press, diaphragm filter press after filtering sludge with low water content, stacked-screw filter press after filtering sludge with slightly higher water content, belt filter press with the highest.
3, sludge treatment of continuous or intermittent: chamber filter press, plate and frame filter press, diaphragm filter press filter press can only be used in an intermittent way to deal with sludge, belt filter press and stacked-screw filter press can be a continuous treatment of sludge, high processing efficiency.
4, sludge treatment to meet the floor space requirements: If the customer has a floor space limit, then you can choose vertical filter press, but it will cause the increase of this, if there is no floor space limit, then you can choose other ways.
5, the different forms of filter presses on the feed pump requirements: chamber filter press, plate and frame filter press, diaphragm filter press filtration mode because of the use of intermittent, it is recommended to use diaphragm sludge pumps, while if the belt filter press and stacked screw filter press is recommended to use the sludge screw pumps, you can also use diaphragm sludge pumps.
